Can I change or cancel my reservation through BookingCars?

Yes, you can and it’s easy! You may change or cancel your booking in “My Bookings” section. We recommend reading the modification and cancellation conditions carefully.
We remind you that changes are subject to availability and final price variations. Therefore, analyze the need for changing your booking, especially in high demand periods.

What do I have to do if I need to cancel my reservation?

You simply have to access “My Bookings” and select the option ‘cancel’. Or you may contact us through any of the available communication channels. 48 hours before the date and time of vehicle pickup. Cancellations made between 48 and 12 hours before the pickup time will incur a penalty of 10% of the total reservation value. Cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to the vehicle pickup time will incur a penalty of 100%. If the reservation is canceled by the car rental company due to failure to meet the minimum rental requirements (minimum age requirement, valid physical driver's license in the destination country, valid passport, valid international credit card in the driver's name for the security deposit, printed Reservation Confirmation Document, etc.), and/or non-use of the reservation for any reason will incur a penalty of 100% of the reservation value. We recommend always canceling your reservations in advance to avoid penalties.

What will happen if I do not show up or the company does not give me the vehicle?

If the reservation is canceled by the rental company because the customer failed to meet the minimum rental requirements (minimum age required, driver’s license valid in the country of destination, valid passport, valid credit card for security deposit, printed voucher, etc.) or if you do not show up to pick up the vehicle, there will be a 100% penalty.
